Rainier Flight Service
Rainier Flight Service was founded in 2009 by Gordon and Bradley, who were furloughed pilots from Alaska Airlines during the economic downturn following the 2008 recession. They started by teaching flight lessons as independent instructors at a small flying club at Boeing Field. Their reputation for quality instruction quickly grew, leading to a waiting list of students.
By 2014, Rainier Flight Service had outgrown its initial office and moved to a larger facility with a hangar and fuel equipment, which provided greater operational control and reduced costs. Over the years, they continued to expand, developing a reputation for quality, safety, and value in flight training.
Today, Rainier Flight Service is the largest flight school in Washington State and is nationally recognized as a leader in the flight training industry. They offer a range of training programs at four locations and have a fleet of 70+ aircraft equipped with the latest technology and safety features.
